You know, I always thought that I would be here; running away from everything I was taught I would be. A princess, who at the age of 10 was told that I would be married off to the highest bidder. I was sheltered since I was born so I didn't know that this was the status quo in my country but even if I did I would hate everyone involved in this bullshit.

At the age of 14 an elderly man who had to be at least 65 had bid a whopping $500 million as well as some jewels and art pieces. The large price wasn't exactly surprising seeing as I was already very beautiful and had a body that most supermodels would be and are jealous of, but I was still enraged that I was being sold off like a piece of meat, and soon that's exactly what I would be. 

As soon as my smiling father told me the good news I cried internally with sadness and anger. I was shaking with rage as my brothers all congratulated me on becoming a high-quality concubine who would produce many heirs and hopefully many more females, for obvious reasons. I couldn't stand it anymore and ran to my room grabbing a backpack with some supplies, I had planned on running away for a while, I just didn't plan on it being this soon. Unfortunately, just as I was about to run into the forest a void of darkness surrounded me.
