David was a high-level player in virtual reality games, excelling in combat and team leadership. He reached the pinnacle with his team, only to be excluded from the finals of the global championship and drugged so he couldn't participate.

By a stroke of luck, they miscalculated the drug dosage, causing David to suffer a heart attack and die. However, he soon woke up in another person's body – that of Prince Falco Ironclad of the Galdoria Empire, the youngest among his siblings and considered the Emperor's bastard prince because he was born to a barbarian slave from the North.
