August 1, 1999, seemed to be just another ordinary date for the rest of the world. A calm and hot summer to which humanity had been accustomed since time immemorial.

Those were also Noah Tatsumi's thoughts when he decided to come camping with seven other children, it was an activity he had been dragged into at the request of his friends.

However, he would quickly realize that this day, this summer, would be like no other as he finds himself pulled into the jaws of an unknown world full of dangers, all alone.
