Set in the modern New-York City of the early 21st century. 9 high-schoolers are cursed with magic and must protect Earth from the Wide-spread Zankoku Empire. Earth is the latest target for the Zankoku Empire, the 9 high-schoolers along with some help must fend off such a large threat while attempting to maintain mildly-normal high-school lives.
