My name is Maisy, Yes my name sounds pretty and if anyone were to judge by name they would think I am a girl with a great life story with loved ones around me but it is different with me.
I lost my two parents when I was young, I am still young so yeah you know how bad that is, I am just 18 years old and I have so many things going on in my life. I see my friends from school and everyone else go have fun and party, drink, and just have their teenage sweet life, but on the other side, I am either cleaning up after my Aunt whom I live with or I am working hours and having little sleep. 
My friend Riley is the one person who makes me forget how awful life is, Her family treats me right and I love them so much, they try to make me not feel lonely and it does help sometimes. 
Everything was going well until I met her Brother Maxwell, anyone would drool at his presence, It all started when I saw him for the first time, his messy blonde hair and piercing blue eyes were captivating, and my heart did that thing I never thought it would do. 
And even though he was not always the smiley type, he looked like he had 10,000 girls sending him thirst traps on social media, I found myself drawn to him.

"I saw you staring at me, Maisy...", he said to me the day I went over to see Riley.
I cannot seem to get my mind off him ever since I set my eyes on him.
Is he into me also? why do our eyes meet now and then? the bond I have with Riley's family will it be shaken when they figure out I have a crush on Maxwell?, Am I breaking the Girls' code by falling for my best friend brother? what if I lose my friendship with her because of my actions? what if the look in his eyes meant something else, something similar to what I feel?
