For many years, sailors have sought the fabled Northwest Passage, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific oceans through the frozen waters of North America. I, Captain Sir John Franklin of the British Empire, am one such sailor.

However, due to ignorance, incompetence and bad luck, my life came to an abrupt end on June morning, and I was never able to reach the Beaufort Sea on the other side of the passage.

But to my luck, the gorgeous goddess Poseidon of the Ocean took interest in my skill, and gave me a second chance at life. The twist? It is not the seas of Earth, but the vast vacuum of space that I'm set to explore!
