Ryan Fox is the Alpha of the Silver Night. Or rather, is supposed to be the Alpha of the Silver Night Pack.
After being chased out of his pack by his cousin and beta for his inability to find a mate which was as a result of a cursed placed on him, he finds himself in the human world and as fate would have it, in front of Valerie Summers.
Valerie Summers, a human girl falls in love with Ryan at first sight and is immediately more than willing to do anything to make Ryan happy and go back his home and get his rightful position back on.  Even if it would entail her pretending to be his mate just for the time being…
After all, the rules of the Silver Night Pack was simply for him to have a mate before being officially crowned as Alpha. No one was particular about the mate being real or, fake.
