Human is a normal creature. Just like any creature he is born, lives and dies.
A difference between human living and animals is that human is on the top of food chain, and he can manipulate the nature however he pleases either for his own greed, or to sustain the life of other species. This world is unique compared to other planets of this Solar System, but not very special when it comes to Universe.
Humans have always wondered what is happening when they die? They'll go to another world? They will reincarnate as another living thing or just a thing without soul? They will be in a deep sleep for the rest of time?
There is a theory that suggest when humans die, they reincarnate back into zero point. Going back to the time they were babies and gaining sentience and living their lives, not remembering or not grasping the fact they've lived this life again. Doing the same thing... Things that they are considering mistakes, or life changing to them.
And such a person who is going from this reincarnation back to zero is a guy by the name of Tudor Andrei, a usual Romanian office worker who got killed when he came to the United States of America because of a southerner racist cop from New Jersey who thought Tudor was the burglar they were chasing for nine months. And when he will reincarnate, he will not be aware of the mistake that will end his second chance.
