Years after the Vietnam war and losing both of his eyes Karn lived a peaceful life and was taken care of by his son and grandsons. Karn knew his life was coming to a close soon, due to him having a loss of vision and even with the help of his son his body stayed in decent shape. When going to go get his checkup at the hospital he suddenly died being transported to a cultivation world. 

Coming back to his senses he found himself on a bed. Karn was left confused considering the lack of sight he had no idea what was going on. Suddenly a voice rang out in his ear.
