Darkness permeated the cold room as Alfred shivered in it. "Why.....Why.... Why me? What did I do?" 

All he wanted to do was live a normal life. Fall in love. Get married. Live happily ever after, but why was that so hard? He didn't even aspire to become a powerful cultivator, he had come to terms with his bad talent a long time ago. 

Instead of the dreamy wonderland he had thought he would get after getting into a good college, he was freezing in this damn cellar which was chilling him to the bone, betrayed by the one he had thought was the one, his friends, and his family. 

If only he had the power, the talent, none of this would happen, the school would've protected him, if only he was stronger... no... it wasn't him, it was those DAMN BASTARDS. If only they really cared for him, none of this would happen. He WOULD take revenge, HE MUST. 

This was his last thought as the cold ebbed the last of his life away... He was suddenly woken up by a sharp cold that spiked from his soul as a familiar scene entered his view...
