Sure, the new bug might not *hurt* you, but it certainly has the capacity to turn your life upside-down - and his life is *fine* as-is, isn't it? But as society tries to cope with the necessary preventative measures, and Kit struggles to come to terms with his own feelings on the matter, it's an open question whether he'll make it out of this without ending up a bit different than he went in...
