During World War II, a Japanese soldier turned American soldier turned part of the French Resistance, Fushi Kazue, finds love and a sense of purpose while fighting for his current country.

Although there are many challenges along the way, he and Elodie Lacroix, a young, bold French resistance fighter, form an alliance and become a powerful duo that takes on the Germans.
