I stood there frozen. My body forget how to function. I silently sent a sincere apology to all those dumbass movie characters I bitched about, not knowing aggie they stand there like fucking invitation when the killer is still a good fifty meters away Ahmad the stupid targets are not having their asses on the run already. But know I know why.  It's not because they don't want to try.  It's because they know they are fucked no matter what. I always used to wonder about the logic behind this concept in every thriller movie. But I got the answer as a good bye gift.  My was battling over two thoughts. Should I lift my head up and take a quick glance at the infamous hybrid alpha king's face and then die a horrible yet satisfactory death........ or just control my dangerous curiosity and die in just one strike. Much more peacefully. Chances of survival is impossible in neither of the cases. Might as well drench the first of my curious mind and die with the privilege of doing something even the the strongest alphas fear to do.  Without thinking any further I quickly lifted my head and looked straight. A pair of sapphire colored eyes looked straight through my onyx ones.
