In 2050, states and systems of government collapsed due to the Third World War. All countries were destroyed, and gangs became the ones controlling the conduct of states and cities in secret by using the police as a cover to cover up their actions. Jigen Yumi, a young boy living in a city full of crime, violence, and rape, upon returning home is shocked by the appearance of his family, only to find his family brutally murdered. His father's head hangs from the ceiling, his mother is cut to pieces, and his younger brother is buried. His older sister Susie was mutilated by having her breasts and buttocks cut off, while his younger brother Shino is missing.
