Nikalandra, an 18 year old human and American crocodile crossbreed, hasn't had the easiest past. Being abandoned only months after his birth, he grew up his whole life in a small orphanage. No one had ever given him a chance, no one ever wanted him... because he was crossbred. Holding many mixed human and crocodile like qualities, his appearance seems more frightening, or different from many others. Not only his appearance, but also the mutations that come with being crossbred. For Nikalandra, he was quite unfortunate, having many health and stress problems growing up because of this. Yet, his caretakers at the orphanage never let up, always helping, and always teaching him how to pursue and live a good life. Because of them, and the highly respectable headmaster at Hollowtree College, he has been given an opportunity. To attend college, but not just for better education. To get out in the world. To meet new people,  make new friends. To find... home, and what home means.
