i head the door click open and close and I needed no one to tell me my Mama was home already. I stood up from the bed heading out to welcome her when I heard.
"Ada start packing we are going to Korea"
My world halted, everything just stood still, time just stopped.
"What". I whispered disbelieving.
The soft clicking sound of her heels brought me back to reality, I hurried to the stairs meeting her on her way to her room. "What did Just say" I had to respectful ask,composing myself despite the excitement bubbling up in me.In Nigeria,you don't behave anyhow Infront of your Mama it's a training most Nigeria children were taught.
" We are going to Korea" My Mama repeated despite her irritation on repeating something she already said or done.
"I have a serious Business there and get bought the earliest flight there which is tomorrow, so start packing."she said stepping into her room.
I quickly ran inside my room and jumped on my bed, I pressed the pillow on my face and screamed which came out muffled. I can't believe this.
