Sebastian, an orphan, from the slums gets adopted by the Clauver family, a merchant aristocratic family, amidst the suspicions that he is an enemy spy. He believed he was saved but was forced into the army as the aristocrats needed to have one of their children serve at least two years there. It's a tale of a boy under suspicion of being an enemy spy and tricked into serving the army. What shall the fate of the boy be as the war between the empire escalates?
