30,000 years ago, the fearsome One-Eyed Demon King waged war with the Heavens. He had unformidable power that was said to rival that of the God of War and the Dragon Lord. He seized control over the Mortal Realm in just one day. He nearly succeeded in conquering the Heavens but after a hundred years of struggles, he was finally subdued and was sealed away. The world then came to realise that the Dragon Lord, Princess Yi Nuo, whose duties was to make sure there was peace between the Heavens and the Demon Realm, has disappeared. They searched across the three realms but she was nowhere to be found.

Fu Hai Su is content with her life as an herbalist at her village. Her fate begins to unravel after accidentally freeing the One-Eyed Demon King from his imprisonment.
