"You would kill me". Soraya said, holding the sword at her neck. Vanek didn't answer and instead sheathed his sword and walked away. 

"War over the golden throne has begun and you golden snakes and flowers can't remain neutral in this". Vanek said. 

"Tarkesh shall decide even if you don't want to". With this he walked away leaving Soraya alone. She slid on the ground holding her neck weeping. 


Those who know the story behind Emperor's Port know too well that it will eat you alive if you don't know its ways. The dangers of dealing with the royal family.
