After completing the military academy Ivan decided to join the army as part of an infantry unit in hopes of rising through the ranks only for his Motherland to be invaded.

Being stationed in the city of Kiev he was in a safe spot he thought only for the Werhmachts army to close into Kiev, where he and his fellow friend from the academy died during an assault on their trench.

After dieing he was brought to purgatory and sent to another world for examination along aide his friend only to find themself covered in long bits of fur.
