There was once an Empire that was considered the peak of human ingenuity. A place where even beggars were of superhuman strength, capable of destroying mountains in an instant.

A place that was once considered the strongest amongst others.

An Empire that prevailed over time and remained stable for centuries to come. A Golden Age of humanity some would call it. 

With that however, came arrogance. Humans, being humans, grew greedy and hungered for more than what they had. A war broke, entrapping the whole continent with death and misery. Corruption ran rapid and famine was all but a common sight.

Until it was all gone.

Several millenniums later, humanity having yet to recover, a new profession had slowly come around. Adventures who traveled across the continent looking for ruins left by the ancient Empire. Tales of unimaginable wealth and power unlike anything else drew countless people to this profession. A young boy, Nero like many his age also dreamt of leaving his small village, to travel and to gain untold wealth however, fate had a different tale for him.
