It is the year 2027, and mankind's greatest RPG game 'Sekai' was released with over half the world's population on the market trying to buy it. Stocks run dry, and Kamisato Daiki a worker in the company gets one of the first-hand copies by stealing it. 

During a game night, Daiki falls ill and rests in his bed. The computer was still open all this time having the game online. 

The next morning, neighbours rush into Daiki's apartment. The door was wide open, a robbery perhaps the neighbours thought. 

All they could see was Daiki's dead body. The scene was investigated and the computer was taken into custody. 

Little did they know, Daiki's soul was now stuck in the game world of 'Sekai'.
