After getting called upon by an old friend, different people from different countries heed his call, to join him on a mysterious mission. However, soon after an unfortunate accident, this small group of mentally broken and unstable characters decide to instead pursue the goal of becoming demon lords, all the while trying to evade their own destiny.

Dark fantasy but often also comedic story with focus on worldbuilding.
