Deep within the Hungering Woods, an egg hatched. As the egg hatched, nothing significant happened. It was just an egg, after all.

It's the beast that had hatched, that will create ripples within the realms.

But first, it's just a tiny little beastling, trying to survive within the dark and shadowed corners of the tangled roots, the gnarled trunks, and the creeping vines of the Hungering Woods.

There's a reason it was named that, after all.
