Sophia Gerard grew up training her entire life to be a New Orleans French Quarter Fire Witch. When she turns 18 her entire world is turned upside down. Witches were part of the fallen,.When God cast Lucifer to hell, there were angels that could not choose who to go with as Lucifer was loved by everyone. Those Angels were cast to earth to live with the humans as witches that God blessed with special gifts to be able to keep the balance between good and evil. Lucifer was furious  and retaliated by creating the first Vampire Damian. He was cast to earth to wreak havoc on God's most precious creation, humans. 
God chose to create Selene the moon goddess and tasked her with creating a new being, werewolves. Witches and werewolves work together to help keep the balance with the ultimate goal of destroying Vampires and protecting humans from them.
