After a very unfortunate event in her childhood, Yorré met a demon and swore to herself that she would be able to stand on her own in the future. After years of training, Yorré and her brother, Axel, are sent on a mysterious mission ensured to them by their father, King Tordin Barron. After the assignment goes astray, she meets new people, rebels, whose cause was one she was previously unaware of. After she sees a new point of view, Yorré isn’t as sure of the people she trusted before, she is especially wary of her father. What would one find when they are really looking? What secrets could lie in an old dusty book, the cold eyes of an ageless old man, the very council she once trusted? And what will she do when she has to choose between what she knows and the abyss?
