Pureblood Vampires and their immortal soul bonded counterparts would share their first breaths when they are born. Yebires is the name given to these creatures. No one ever knows if they are having a human or a Yebire child. They aren't passed down genetically and are instead regarded as defects/mutations. Their existence is nearly identical to that of a beautiful ghoul, with the exception that they are not hungry for humans. It took Tilly more than 100 or so years of being relentlessly hunted before she found her Vampire bond, Theo. Along with many others like her. However, it doesn't change the fact that she's spent most of her years in fear and thought it was time to start putting these cruel hunts to an end.
