Kirian Lang was a pet to a vicious elite named Seth Lohril. This was in a time where a super computer had taken over the world and placed cyborgs in charge of running and maintaining it called Elites. Unable to take the constant death of his friends and torture under an emotionless robot, Kirian jumped from the Bastille at the center of the city.

Seth was a soulless man, wanting nothing in life but to learn. Curiosity had him collar a pet after years of refusal and when that pet tried to end his own life without Seth's permission how could he let that happen? Of course Seth had to stop him but he never saw himself tumbling out the window after him instead. 

when they both wake up they awake in a world totally foreign to them: Ancient China with cultivators and an evil sect trying to destroy the peace. They find themselves transported into the bodies of two important figures in the fight. Will they be able to reconcile their past trauma, work together, and save the world?

There is a loose reference and connection to the swords of legends online video game world however the characters and story are original.
