By no means is Mil a philosopher. However, that’s not to say that she doesn’t spend almost every waking moment of her dreadfully sexy existence deciphering the importance of both life and death. 

The reason for this? Hm… who knows. 

All that is certain is the fact that she, Mil, is a simple girl, and like all simple girls, she loves pretty things. Maybe a little too obsessively… but that’s besides the point! 

She’s the emperor’s favorite general. When it comes to killing, there is no one more talented than her. She might not have a lot between her two ears, but the ability to take someone else’s life cold-heartedly? It’s a natural gift, baby. 

She once thought that she’d be forever content with the glossy badges, fancy titles, and sparkly gold that she receives in honor of her feats… but everything’s changed since the moment she set her sights on Duke Kaida. Him being absolutely the most panty-dropping gorgeous thing she has ever seen is the dilemma here. 

Unfortunately, Duke Kaida is a big no no; the emperor said so. 

He’s engaged to the princess. 

Now… Mil might not have all the right answers to life’s existential-crisis questions, but she knows for damn sure that Duke Kaida is way too good for that stupid, know-it-all princess, and she can’t sit around any longer watching this blasphemy unfold!
