One fine day, Amaroth died. And then, the world was plunged into darkness. 

Or, so goes the legend. 

That was the first thing I learned after coming here. Reden City. In the old tongue, Reden meant the land of the setting sun. That should have told me something. 

I came for work. I moved into my new apartment. I met new people. New friends. New neighbours. 

And new ghosts. 

And then, I keep getting dragged into things. Why can't they just leave me alone? 

Oh, I haven't introduced myself, have I? I'm Rakuen. Raku, for short. In the old tongue, Raku meant evil eye. 

And, in case you haven't figured it out already, I'm not exactly from around here.
