Was it because he won 20 million dollars lottery? No.
Was it because it happened the night after the company of his dreams called him to resume work the next Monday?... No. That all will call for celebration even, no the reason he couldn't believe his eyes was because after celebrating with his family and going to bed the most happy human on earth he woke up to a universe where your fear of anything will create a powerful mass murderer and the fate of the world rests in the hand of a guy whose goals are slightly above everybody's favorite 'issei hyodou'.
