She reached out for the lantern but placed

her hand on something smooth and cold. It

 felt like a hand, a boney hand quickly

 retracting her hand she ran back into the

 corridor where there was light only to turn

 back and see a broken looking skeleton

 figure following her. 

 She made a turn and bumped into the

butler. " Lady Kasarana, are you alright ? ", he

 asked in a polite tone. But Kassie was in

 panick mode and couldn't answer the butler,

 turning around she saw the skeleton figure

 running towards her. 


 The butler following her line of sight and

 seeing nothing, wondered what had gotten 

the lady so shaken up. Blocking her face with

 her two hands, she saw the figure run right

through her and the butler and disappeared. 


 " D-did you see that ? ", she asked him. " I'm 

afraid I don't see it Lady Kasarana ", he replied

 truthfully staring at the lady as if she had

 gone mad. " Oh ", Kassie said realizing the 

awkward situation she said, " It seems like the

 spider got away and get a lantern fixed in the

 kitchen ". The butler realizing what she meant

replied, " Yes, Lady Kasarana " with a bow. ' So

the lady is afraid of spiders ' he said to

 himself watching the lady walk away.
