Jewel-Mancy is an incredibly niche school of magic. These mages can’t use normal magic like shooting fireballs from their hands and lighting from their fingertips. They can’t earth bend or create magical automatons to fight for them. Nor can they summon vast legions of the undead to do their bidding. They can only charge precious stones up with magic and use them as disposable weaponry. Even the small almost non existent Jewel-mancer population are just people who got the damn job for shits and giggles. Like air mages, no one takes the ones who take themselves seriously.... uh.. seriously. Until one such jewel mage had to start from a point lower than any other. No funding, no practical skills, and no idea what the actual f*ck is going on!
