Ganesha is the only god worshipped by all the seven Sampradayas.  Even in Vishnu temples He has a place with the name “Thumbikkai Alvar”.  So, Ganesha is worshipped by all the seven major Sampradayas of Hinduism.  That is why I say, Ganesh Chaturthi is the most-celebrated festival in Hinduism!
