In the not-so-distant past, man used to live in stone castles and use horse-drawn carriages to get around, however, this all changed when a single miner uncovered a mysterious metal.

Kastite.

This metal had changed the world as it was known forever. The metal was immune to every kind of degradation, had a natural insulation affect, and it was able to produce all sorts of weapons that defied common logic.

Though, the most noticeable, and formidable, change was the fact that the metal leaked a foreign energy into the atmosphere. This energy was later named "Ki" and it allowed mankind to perform feats that would have been impossible without it.

Though many praised Ki as a divine gift...they soon began to think that it was anything but that. Mere months after the discovery of Ki, alien species began to invade the planet of Liobos. They brought monsters of untold horror with them as they pillaged, raided, and killed everyone in their path.

Now, after twenty years of imprisonment by these alien species, Humanity has begun to gather their strength for a final, and futile, attempt to break free.
