"Do you find it hard to keep up?" 

My brows furrowed by the question. The school consultant look at me as if examining my behavior and how will I answer her question without pretending.

She's not talking and waiting for my answer while intently looking at my actions. A sigh escape my mouth as I comfortably lean my back at the chair. 

"The thing is..." I paused. Her brows slightly move, still waiting for my next word. "... I am advancing." 

Her both forearm instinctively put above the table as her hand clasped together. "I am advancing without them knowing and I guess that's the reason why they hated me."

"How do you say so?" She asked, looking so interested by the discussion.

"Life can be a race." I profess. "We start together but since they don't know my coping mechanism, they think I am cheating for advancing way faster than they are." 

Her head partly tilted after hearing my metaphor. "What makes you think of that?" 

A smile instantly formed over my lips. The day I was emerge suddenly came to my mind together with their confused look and many expectations.

"Probably because they didn't expect Alliyah Monrovia will join them here."
