Nei was one of those people who always dreamed of going to a fantasy world. He wanted to be the toughest guy around and force people to do his bidding.

After trying all sorts of techniques to contact a God/Goddess he resorted to praying to an old shrine near his house.

Nothing happened to Nei, so he vented his emotions on the god. And the god felt insulted so he went in there and zapped Nei, making his life come to an end...

Or atleast that's what he thought. The god realized that he had zapped a star child, (which is like a child blessed by one of the other gods.) so he secretly sent him away to be rebirthed into a fantasy world.

Thus Nei's travel started there as he found himself in a cave as a little orange fox with green eyes.
