[ The concubine and the Mage ] 

Some weeks before the official engagement between The Crown Prince of Meriana Empire and The sole Princess of the neighboring country, Beriryl, the princess who was currently residing at the Merian Royal Palace, decided to approach The Empress, the mother of the Crown Prince. 

Long story short, The Empress proposed a deal to the young Princess. She asked her to participate in the / Royal Concubine's Treasure Hunt /, which had started since the death of the previous Royal Concubine. If the Princess was successful to find the missing piece of the Hunt, The Empress, herself would grant any such wish made by the recipient. 

The Princess who wasn't really fond of the Prince; desperately wanted to annul the engagement and vice-versa, thus the opportunity seemed too luring for her. The Prince also participated positioned as a mere 'assistant' to the Princess, and thus after days the Two Blessings of the respective Empire and Country, confronted The Empress, with the LAST MISSING PIECE OF THE ROYAL CONCUBINE.
