Not every story has a happy ending. Some have no endings at all. And some start in places you’d never expected.
Ten years had passed since I wrote the story of Evera, a world of magic, darkness, and fantasy. Left unfinished, I thought that was all it would ever be. But when my life felt as if it were falling apart and my story was coming to an end, fate dropped me into a world that I thought only existed in my imagination. To get home, I have to trust the characters I left behind--broken and waiting for their happily ever after. Through the years, they grew up and became resentful, untrusting, and angry, just like their world around them and if I want to get back home, I have to gain their trust and help them find a way to fix the broken, shattered Evera I left behind.
