"karisa...I beg you to flee" arhad said as he reached his hand to caress her face.
karisa jerked back as she avoided his touch and retorted back "from what?!"
"from me, who will commit all kind of madness to make you mine"
unshakeable as she was, she smiled a smile that didn't reach her eyes and glared at him "I can't belong to anyone. I belong to me and myself"
Arhad gave a low laugh as he stared at her retreating back. he wasn't fazed by her icy demeanour. he smirked mysteriously "love...where will you run away when you willingly stepped in my lair?"

Karisa Parvis became heartless and selfish. she abandoned her already crushed heart a long time ago so these emotions and longings were all Greek to her. her steel walls around her heart were so high and mighty that even the strongest sword couldn't break in...
