Monsters have taken over the world. Humanity is on the brink of extinction. On its last gasps, humans managed to awaken powers to fight back against these monsters. It was latter learned that through conquering and defeating these monsters, humans could develop their abilities and evolve using Monster Essence. This was called Monster Assimilation.
 
250 years after the discovery of Monster Integration, humanity is finally managing to regain its footing in the world. Callum, a 15 year old orphan boy from New Hope City, the capital of the reclaimed region known as New Hope Empire, is trying his best to survive while protecting his new family.
