Ruth's life is not as glamorous as most girls. Yes she's talented with music and art, but her home life isn't what she would like it to be. Shes lived with her great aunt and uncle since she was young, and has been bullied all her life in school. She didn't see a way out, until she falls for the high school senior. 

Two kids who've known each other for years slowly fall for each other. Together, they help each other find the things they've been missing in life, and realize what love truly means to them.
