When Mia was the age of 13, her life changed for the worst. Her mother and older brother were brutally murdered by the man she called 'dad'. That fateful night she lost her whole family and was left broken. 

              But that soon changed when she was adopted by the officer that saved her life. Soon the two were inseparable and held each other up when the other needed the other. They would do anything for the other and that included moving to Hawaii together, as soon as Mia graduated from High School. 

     But her plans of leaving Seattle, with just 11 months remaining, start to become rocky when Jacob Bennett enter's her life with his only mission being, befriending Mia....or maybe more.
