We have always said that a cat will always be the hunter to a bird as it is prey to the cat. Is that possible those rules don't apply for people like Geneses.  The Geneses are smarter than normal animals with the ability to talk and think and walk on two legs. Human-like.
Animals are using their skills to survive in the wild, While Geneses use their skills in battle. A bird geneses and a Cat Geneses. How will this story unfold? Will it end with the Cat hunting the bird or the bird flying from its predator?
