Mathis lived in a family of mages. His family's reputation was slowly dwindling because their power seemed to die with each passing generation. Being a mage wasn't necessary to become successful in this day and age, but it was part of the family tradition to become a mage. His parents, not wanting to put pressure on him, decided to send him to a mix college, for both normal people and mages. Mathis never really expected anything too bad from his future, that is until he started hearing a voice in his head .
