Heng is a young man that has lived scarcely under the dome after the Jorani and Samurai war. He has no biological parents, but he does have an adoptive one. Heng has lived with Kosal for years. At the time, Heng was taught the basics of sword fighting, the laws of the dome, and the monsters outside of the dome. At seventeen years old, Heng lost Kosal from lung cancer. A few days after the death of his adoptive father, Heng receives a letter inviting him to study at the MSE (Military school for Exterminators). 

This story takes place after he has attended school for a two weeks.
