The unshed tears made the bile rise from her guts and knowing her best friend, she knew they were past beyond the point of redemption. She looked to her right where their common interest stood and averted her eyes as subtly as she could

"I never meant for things to turn out like this Tasha, please believe me" she pleaded with her best friend in a desperate attempt to make her understand her intentions. 

"Were you so bitter? So freaking bitter that seeing me happy was just too much for you? You knew how much I loved him but you still went and fucked him . . . then call yourself my best friend? Bit*h we done" she retorted

"I love you and I love him and that is real and its the truth. I was being a good friend like you suggested"

She finally realised that she had to let go and still, she had no words for him. All she knew is he broke all that was solid in her life and still . . . she knew that one word from him and she will go running back to his arms.
