Sehun and Hayoung met under bad circumstance as that guy saved her from sexual assault. Sehun's father want him to get married with Hayoung in order to give the full position of company to him. Which also, one of his way to make Sehun forget his ex-girlfriend who cheated on him three years ago. 

Since Sehun is in dilemma, he made a contract which has broke Hayoung's heart and eventually made their relationship become stumble. As time passed, they since to forget about the contract.
