Niko was her protector, her hero, her everything until her parents decided to adopt Niko into the Shen family and rename him, Shen Chi. 

Shen Shu was happy. She loved Niko in every possible way and she wanted him to stay, but as time passed, she realized her love for him was different than what people thought, what society expected. Her love for him was Forbidden. Her feelings had to be kept secret, hidden, and ignored. It's not something she could admit aloud because the world believed he was Shen Chi, her brother. 

Follow Shen Shu as she navigates her life and her feelings for someone she's not supposed to love romantically, how there could be consequences if they were to cave into their desires and how it could tear them apart. 

Note: The main characters are NOT blood-related. There will be a happy ending/happily ever after in this novel.
