The Sword God was bored. There was nothing left for him to do. He was has lived for too long now. There was no more person left to fight him since he was too strong. There were no longer any wars to enjoy since he was brought peace upon the world. 
In his boredom, he realized how quasi-immortality wasn't as amazing as he would thought when he was younger. So he did the unimaginable. He drank a potion that accelerated his aging by a thousand fold. 
As he died, he closed his eyes, waiting for good old death to pick him.
'Isn't this taking too long?' He complained.
He opened his eyes to take a small peek and was immediately greeted by giant humans.
